Ladies and gentlemen, Id like to say that for the past few months, Ive been going to the Student Ambassador People to People program. What we do is invent 6,000 dollars, and become Student Ambassadors, showing the world how we are here in America. Our trip was Australia.
And the person at the other end of the phone told us that if I did not get my passport, then I was not going, and the $6,000 were going to go bye bye for no reason at all.
We turned back, going to the passport office again. We spent the entire day there, begging and on our knees to get passports. Their reasons for not giving us my passport was because we were from Laredo, and there were a bunch of illegal documentations since it is a border city.
Thats discrimination people. And the lady there kept on saying that; even her supervisor. Funny thing is that I applied for my passport in February, and most of the people in the passport office were barely applying that very day and getting it right away. Thats just stupid.
Eventually, we found a saint. An ascended help from god (thank you!). She helped us out, and even made the supervisor change his mind. We were the very last ones there, and finally got our passports.
Because of this, I missed my cousins graduation and my sisters birthday. Since we were in Houston anyway, we decided to go to the IMAX theater (something we dont have in Laredo) and watched Spider-Man 3. Then we picked a hotel, and slept at night.
The next morning (today), I knew what I was missing. I had a graduation to attend to with the band. I missed that, and therefore, am not getting a spot for next semesters marching season (that sucks).
So I get home right about now. We had already turned in everything we needed to the Student Ambassador office. Now I can finally rest.
Now, if youre wondering what a Student Ambassador is, it is a person that goes to another country to show what America is like, and rid of stereotypes. At the same time, we are going to rid stereotypes we think of these other countries. While were at these other countries, we are going to do just about everything it has to offer. Heck, were even going to have a home-stay, which is when you are placed with a family that is not your own and experience what they do in their everyday life.
Yeah, its going to be sweet. I just wish that I had my passport sooner; I almost lost a lot of money!

OMG! I'm not your only watcher anymore! Congratulations man! But you're not going to get this message for quite a while so good job once you get back
